Mrs. Christy's 3 year olds - Building Project and Fall Fun

Mrs. Christy's class started off the school year with a building project.  We had fun building with many different materials including cups, cardboard pieces, scented play dough, and popsicle sticks.  Who says you can only build with blocks!  Although, we did enjoy building with wood blocks and legos too.
We set up a dramatic play area for the kids to pretend to be construction workers and used hammers to pound golf tees to work our fine motor skills.

Mrs. Amy's Friday class kicked off the Fall season with a science experiment.  We were mesmerized by adding vinegar and baking soda to hollowed out apples.  It makes it even more fun to add food coloring!

Fall is now in full swing and we have been having so much fun with our sensory table.  We have got to experience pumpkin pie play dough, glow in the dark slime, and colored pasta.  We have been practicing counting through play and love being an active part of story time.
